AgentReady Is Live: Check How Ready Your Website Is for AI Agents

What It Does

AgentReady answers one question: is your website ready for AI agents?

Not chatbots. Not copilots. Autonomous AI agents that browse the web, read your content, call your APIs, and make decisions about whether to use your product. These agents are already here and they need specific signals from your site to work properly.

You enter your project name and URL. AgentReady runs 15 checks across discovery, security, content, performance, and accessibility. Then it generates a written review with strengths, improvements, and a verdict. Your review gets its own public page with a permanent do-follow backlink to your site.

The 15 Checks

Here is exactly what we test:

  • HTTPS - basic transport security
  • Robots.txt - are AI bots allowed or blocked?
  • AI bot discovery - do you explicitly allow or mention AI crawlers?
  • Sitemap - can agents find all your pages?
  • AI agent manifest - do you have an ai-agent.json discovery file?
  • Title and description - clear metadata for machine parsing
  • Heading clarity - structured content hierarchy
  • Structured data - JSON-LD, OpenGraph, schema.org
  • Canonical URL - consistent URL identity
  • OpenGraph image - visual representation for sharing
  • Feed discoverability - RSS/Atom feeds for content updates
  • API discoverability - OpenAPI specs, public endpoints
  • Security headers - CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options
  • CORS - cross-origin access for programmatic use
  • Viewport and language - accessibility basics

On top of the 15 checks, we also pull Google PageSpeed scores, Mozilla Observatory security grade, green hosting status, domain age, and a live screenshot.

Test Results

I ran it on 5 well-known products to see how they score:

ProductScoreGradeStars
Resend79C★★★★☆
aiia.ro73C★★★☆☆
Linear66C★★★★☆
Vercel60D★★★☆☆
Cursor59D★★★☆☆

None of them scored above 80. That surprised me. These are well-built, well-funded products with strong engineering teams, and they still miss basic agent-readiness signals like ai-agent.json manifests, explicit AI bot rules in robots.txt, and structured API discovery.

The takeaway: most websites are not ready for AI agents yet. The ones that get ready first will have an advantage when agent traffic becomes real volume.

What You Get

  • Agent-readiness score out of 100
  • Written review with strengths and improvements
  • Permanent do-follow backlink to your project
  • Public review page you can share
  • Posted across 5 social platforms for visibility
  • PageSpeed, security, and discovery analysis

All free. No signup, no payment, no catch. Two fields: project name and URL. That is it.

Try It

If you have a website, a SaaS product, an API, or anything public-facing, paste the URL and see where you stand. The review takes about 30 seconds to generate.

Every review lives at its own URL under /tools/agent-ready/reviews/your-project. You can share it, link to it, embed the score. The backlink is permanent and do-follow.

I built this because I wanted to know how ready my own site was. Then I realized everyone should know. So I made it free and gave it a backlink to make it worth the 30 seconds.
