Making one of those videos used to mean screen recording Reddit, finding background footage, recording your own voice or setting up text-to-speech, syncing everything in a video editor, and exporting. Easily an hour of work per video.

How It Works

1. Paste a Reddit URL or just type a subreddit name and it picks a popular post for you
2. Choose a voice for the narration (Google Translate, TikTok-style, or system voice)
3. Pick a background (Minecraft, GTA, Rocket League, CS:GO Surf, Fall Guys, Cluster Truck)
4. Hit Generate and wait 2-5 minutes
5. Download your MP4, upload it wherever you want

The tool takes screenshots of the actual Reddit post and comments, generates AI narration from the text, layers everything over gameplay footage with background music, and renders a vertical 1080x1920 video.

Why We Built This

Reddit content is some of the best raw material for short-form video. AskReddit threads, AITA stories, relationship advice, shower thoughts. The comments are already written. The drama is already there. You just need to put it in a format people watch.

But every existing tool for this either charges money, requires you to install Python and ffmpeg locally, or makes you sign up for an account. We wanted something that just works in a browser. Paste a link, get a video.

So we built it and put it on our tools page next to OpenCast (our YouTube podcast tool) and AgentReady (our AI agent checker).

The API

Everything we build has an API. If you want to generate videos programmatically:

Returns a job_id. Poll /api/reddit-video/status/{job_id} until it's done, then download from /api/reddit-video/download/{job_id}.

Rate limited to 3 videos per hour. Generated videos are deleted after 24 hours. No account or API key required.
